OUR RETREAT CENTER
Located in Northern California near the foot of the mystical mountain, Mount Shasta. The main facility sits upon a knoll overlooking the 19 acres of old growth forest with a view of Mount Shasta from the Great Room window.
Wagon creek flows freely through the middle of the land year round adding to the serenity of the experience. Throughout the forest there are a maze of nature trails meandering through the trees and up and around the various hills, valleys and open spaces which make up the contour of the land crossing the creek in several places.
The Center sits in between Mount Shasta on the east, Black Butte to the north and Mount Eddy to the west. Wagon creek begins its journey on Mount Eddy, cascading down the mountain prior to reaching our forest.
We are blessed with a variety of wildlife including deer, racoons, rabbits, squirls, chipmunks, and the occasional possum and black bear. plus we are home to a variety of woodpeckers, ravens, a redtail hawk, a falcon and a large variety of birds who all visit or make their home in our sacred space
Our Mission
Provide a safe and sacred space for ourselves and others to experience the energy and magic that Mount Shasta has to offer anyone on their personal journey of self discovery and connecting to their true selves.
Individuals
You are invited to come and create your own Spiritual retreat at our center. Stay for the weekend or a whole week or better yet fully immerse yourself within the Mount Shasta vortex for an extended stay. We would facilitate activities which are in alignment with your requests and guide you along your journey as you see fit. The spirit of the mountain will provide your soul the nurishment you may be seeking. Be prepared for a shift.
Retreat Leaders
Are you seeking a spiritual venue to hold your next retreat? You found it! There is a difference between synchronicity and coincidence. Our Centers are a perfect space for transformation of those awakening Souls seeking to connect with their true self and Gaia. Nestled among old growth trees with Wagon creek freely flowing through the forest your participants can experience soul embodiment and nature spirits in the vortex of Mount Shasta.
Retreats
Wisdom of the Heart Center was created as a place to expand planetary Consciousness. We offer several 3 day transformational retreats throughout the year. As we raise our vibration as individuals we facilitate the expansion of the whole. We invite you to join us in Mt Shasta and experience a shift within as the energy and the magic of the mountain transforms you.
Large Group Retreats
Wisdom of The Heart Center was created as the Sacred Masculine space for spiritual growth along with the Sanctuary of the Heart, the Divine Feminine space. A place for balancing the masculine and feminine energies within each of us. Both centers share 19 acres of old growth forest between them. Combined our facilities can accommodate up to 30 overnight guests and can be reserved to be utilized as one retreat.
Our Facilities
Our main building was built in 1962 and was added onto a couple of times as the needs of the original owners shifted. It now has over 4400 square feet of living space all on one level with a couple of steps here and there. The 1400 sf Great Room has a unique indoor fire pit that is perfect for ceremony or for just sitting around enjoying each others company with a warm fire to relax around, it can easily seat 16 - 20 people around the circular base.
The dinning area has formal seating for 16 - 20 people and there is plenty of space for extra tables if the need arises. There are two long serving counters conveniently located in the great room perfect for group dining and/or community potlucks. Two separate kitchens make food prep a breeze for a variety of diets and individuals. We can accommodate 16 - 20 overnight guests with the 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Plus in the warmer months there are outdoor glamping domes available for overnight guests and camping facilities.
In addition to the indoor space the house has plenty of outdoor spaces for gatherings on the extensive wrap around deck or the large circular patio or the private courtyard. And outside of fire season there are 2 outdoor fire rings for groups to gather around for drumming, dancing and just all around social fun and entertainment.
